North Carolina: Constitutional Carry

For years, North Carolina gun owners have been forced to jump through bureaucratic hoops to exercise their Second Amendment rights.

As the current law stands, if a law abiding gun owner wants to protect themselves or their family in public they must first take government-mandated classes, go through an invasive finger-printing process usually reserved for criminals and then wait an additional 45 days for permission to exercise a God-given right.

And if you decide to exercise your rights without expressed government permission you could be charged with a class 2 misdemeanor and sentenced up to 60 days of “community punishment”… in other words, whatever the judge decides is appropriate to pay back your crimes against society.

Constitutional Carry would remove these draconian laws by restoring the rights of gun owners and allowing anyone who can legally possess a firearm to legally carry that firearm for self-defense.

With Constitutional Carry, the Second Amendment is the only permit you need.

No free man should have their rights taken from them, only to be sold back at a profit.

That’s why we’re turning up the pressure on legislators to pass Constitutional Carry HB. 197.

With Republican majorities in both the House and Senate there is NO excuse to perpetuate the wishes of the gun control mob in North Carolina any longer.
